When the earth was undergoing intense natural geologic changes natural concrete was being created. It was this natural cement that was first put to use. Eventually cement was made from other materials. The Egyptians used mud mixed with straw to bind dry bricks. Mortar has been found in the pyramids.
Using natural and organic material with the addition of reinforcing agents, my pieces are made the traditional way by Master Craftsmen. With inspiration I approach the concrete with only my hands. Creating warmth, beauty & delight as well as the function and form of each piece.
