Diane Negrin
Born near the Canadian border in New York State, I learned an apprecation of nature at a young age from my parents, and probably my interest in photography and painting began at that time.
Art classes all through high school taught me the basics I needed to give me a good foundation, although I was 45 years of age before I began to seriously paint. In 1993-94
I attended several classes given at the local trade school, then I spent a great deal of time painting the next few years to develop my own techniques.
I work largely from Photos, sometimes combining several to create a painting. My artwork is a blend of fine art, with a touch of whimsey, a special attention is given to detail.
My husband lends a hand also, hand crafting the wooden pieces of furniture I paint on and making rustic frames that enhance my artwork.
I sell my artwork at shows in New York State and occasionally from my home.
